Awards
There are currently four official ANZ Championship Awards::
- ANZ Championship Most Valuable Player (introduced in 2008)
- ANZ Championship Best Young Player (introduced in 2010)
- ANZ Championship All Star Team (introduced in 2011)
- Grand Final Player of the Match (introduced in 2008)
ANZ Championship Most Valuable Player (MVP)
The MVP is designed to recognise the best performed athlete during the Season. The 2011 MVP was jointly won by Leana de Bruin (Steel) and Natalie Medhurst (Firebirds). Previous winners include Romelda Aiken, Sonia Mkoloma and Liana Leota (nee Barrett-Chase).

ANZ Championship Best Young Player
The Best Young Player was introduced in 2010 to recognise the future stars of the ANZ Championship. Sharni Layton was named the inaugural winner after her outstanding season with 2010 Champions, the Adelaide Thunderbirds. In 2011, the LG Mystics' Kayla Cullen was named Best Young Player on the eve of her side's first ever Grand Final appearance.
